But we had fun

I had torn out a recipe from a magazine years ago for a gorgeous dessert made of phylo dough in the shape of a basket filled with whipped cream and lemon curd, and topped with peaches, strawberries, and kiwi. Silly me thought I would simply use pie pastry. Pie crust doesn't have the strength to keep it's shape outside of the dish, so it didn't work. But it was fun to try and it tasted good.
