We went trick-or-treating as a family in a nearby neighborhood where Davis met up with some fellow scouts. Kent gave him the go-ahead and off he went. We caught up with him about an hour later up on the hill. He had hauled in about seven pounds of candy!
The highlight for Reagan was meeting a friendly homeowner dressed as a gorilla. Reagan used to like gorillas and enjoyed watching them on the zoo-cam, but they have since become the subject of his bad dreams. We told the homeowner and she removed her mask. She was a really sweet lady and Reagan was thrilled with the candy. All the rest of the night and at every door he had to tell about the lady dressed as a "grella"
Elijah, dressed as a lion, got lots of goos and oohs. He fell asleep in my arms and Kent carried him the rest of the night.
Maggie, dressed as a punk rock girl, wasn't happy to be mistaken for Hannah Montana! She was greeted many times last night by classmates. At one house, the young woman who passed out the candy commented on Maggie's earrings. She thinks she might like to have a pair.

If we knew how to shut off the flash on the camera, you would see how really cool Gunn's jawa costume was. Kent attached a battery pack and LED lights to an elastic strap around Gunn's face to look like the eyes of a jawa.
