I try to get my fishing fix (after being skunked frequently on the Spokane River) by fishing at a local pond (the yuppies call it a lake). After only catching 6-7" bluegill or 9" perch, I was pretty surprised when setting the hook didn't pull the fish out of the water. I caught this 15" crappie on a fly I designed and tied. He's 6" tall without the fins. I'm still trying to find a scale...
