The children have been keeping track of computer time they earn with beans. Last night Gunnar earned six beans but we didn't know where his bottle was in which he kept them. I told him that when he found it I would give him his six beans. He asked me if I would like to write myself a "sticky note" so I didn't forget. I assured him I would not forget. "Well," he said, unconvinced, "'cause I think you forgot that I had asked you for a drink of milk just a little while ago."
