Cheese is good and so is chocolate especially in chocolate chip cookies and it goes well with nuts and nuts go well in peanut brittle or else . . .

About the Write-In-Reader, when the school year began Davis underestimated the amount of nostalgia he would feel at the end of it and he declined to spend his money on a yearbook. However, when yearbooks were being distributed and Maggie got hers from her elementary school, Davis was disappointed with his choice. During one class period when albums were being passed around and signed, Davis got ahold of a workbook, a "Write-In-Reader", that was being discarded and passed that around as an autograph book for all his friends to sign. He got more than fifty signatures! Popular kid!
By the way, he was on honor roll and was a candidate for student of the trimester this last term. He wants you all to know that he improved his time in the mile run; his previous time was 9:48, his goal was to be better than 9:30 because; one, that was just better than his previous run and, two, it would get him a "B" instead of a "C". He ran his last mile in 9:21.
